Swedish furniture giant Ikea987 Archivespretty well known for its in-store kids' playground, with its colourful plastic products and multitude of toys.
So when Ikea Singapore announced that they were scrapping it in favour of digital tablet stations, people got pretty pissed.

Despite a swarm of organisations and brands pulling the same trick every year, most netizens seem pretty convinced by the company's statement.
Some however, were faster to catch on, though it probably would have been more obvious if they had actually carried out the prank on the actual day y'know. Talk about jumping the gun.
But if it wasn't obvious enough from the comments, IKEA's troll worthy replies left almost no doubt.
Happy April Fools' Day Ikea, and here's hoping you don't lose all your customers before then -- or the joke might just be on you.
