World War III is Uncategorized Archiveslooking a lot different than many may have imagined.
On Tuesday, Chrissy Teigen sparked a battle between blender companies that evolved into a full-on Twitter war between Vitamix, NutriBullet and Blendtec. Things got really mixed up.

People started sending Teigen hilarious messages of things they had intended to buy on Amazon like wealthy significant others and Yeezy footwear. "You gotta hit up John for this one," Teigen tweeted to a user who said she accidentally bought Cravings instead of paying her school's tuition.
But things got really interesting when Teigen tweeted that Vitamix followed her seconds after she messaged Amina that she would send a Vitamix blender. "Are the blender gods reading our direct messages?" she asked.

NutriBullet threw some punches when they suggested Teigen stay away from possible spying blenders. "That's why you need a #NutriBullet," they tweeted. This is what historians will mark as the true beginning of the Great Blender War of 2016.

Teigen began orchestrating the war by asking what the blenders hated about each other.

NutriBullet came in gently and claimed there was love all around, but definitely won a few points with the John Legend lyrics they snuck in their tweet. But it was their next statement that raised the intensity of the war exponentially: "It's not a war when you already crush it."
Shots fired.

Blendtec then pointed out the safety of their products had never been questioned, and even won some hearts over to their cause when they responded to a civilian's comment on baby food by stating that they "support tube-fed babies who would have no other way of getting whole food."

Not to be outdone by the sweet comments from Blendtec, NutriBullet called attention to their baby product—The Baby Bullet. And while NutriBullet continued toting their positive affects on children, Vitamix remained silent.

Then Beyoncé was introduced and things got very real, very fast. NutriBullet flexed their love of lemonade, but it was Blendtec that took home to prize when they tweeted a magazine featuring Queen Bey.
Everything came to a halt when the war ended abruptly thanks to a hungry baby Luna.
Ultimately all that matters is that Amina will now own both a blender and Teigen's cookbook. Let's get one thing clear: she is the real winner here.
