Only a few hours after Apple sent out this year's iPhone event invitations, vox ancient eroticism purportedly leaked images of the new devices have surfaced online.
This afternoon, Apple news site 9to5Mac posted a photo of what is allegedly one of the new flagship iPhone models laying on top of one another.
If the leaked photos are to be believed, Apple fans can rejoice, because it appears that a bigger iPhone X is on its way — oh, and there could be a gold color option coming as well.
SEE ALSO: Apple's new iPhones will be announced on Sept. 12The Cupertino, Calif.-based tech company just sent out invites for a September 12 event with the tagline "Gather Around." The invite didn't offer much information about what to expect, but an outline of Apple Park appeared in what was a gold-copper color — which could be perceived as a hint about the upcoming gold iPhone color option.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
Fueling the rumor mill is the fact that the FCC recently posted a gold version of the iPhone X that never saw the light of day. There's also the fact that the iPhone 5S was originally offered in gold — so there's at least some precedent for the color being used by the company.
This leaked image also suggests that the iPhone X design will begin spreading through the entire iPhone lineup. Both the larger 6.5-inch and 5.9-inch "iPhone XS" models should receive modest upgrades to their internals.
Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones at its upcoming event, including an LCD iPhone that will cost less. You can also expect Face ID on all three new models.
Only time will tell exactly what Apple has in store for this year's event, but luckily we don't have to wait very long to find out. The big event is taking place September 12, and we'll be there, reporting on all the latest news, so be sure to check back here at Mashable for more details.
