Started in 2012, Giving Tuesday falls on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, well-past Black Friday deals, small business Saturday roundups, and Cyber Monday sales. Through collaborations with national businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations, the day will hopefully catalyze millions of dollars in charitable donations to organizations around the country and the world. And consider extending your generosity beyond the holiday season. The Giving Tuesday campaign also runs a weekly, year-round series, called #GivingEveryTuesday, that highlights charitable opportunities and brings awareness to important global holidays, like International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
