Uber rides can Business Relationshipgo a lot of different ways. George the Uber driver is giving you options.
George Ure is quickly becoming the internet's favorite Uber driver. Ure, in an attempt to make his passengers laugh, The Seattle-based driver made a menu of "ride types." The now-viral list consists of The Stand Up, The Silent Ride, The Therapy Ride, The Creepy Ride, and The Rude Ride. Each ride offers a different experience for the rider.
During some downtime after a busy week, Ure printed 20 menus to hand out during his rides. Originally, Ure had been asking riders what kind of ride they wanted to have -- a stand up ride where he tells jokes or a silent ride where he remains quiet -- and decided to make something that people could read themselves.
“It would actually be kinda funny and it would also be helpful, too,” Ure told Mashable over the phone.
After a tweet from one of his passengers went viral this week, so did Ure. He woke up to a friend calling to say, "Hey, you went viral," a fact he was hard-pressed to believe. "I just woke up, and I was like, 'this is not happening!'"
He created a Twitter account at the behest of his dad, who urged Ure to make the most of his newsworthy moment. Now, he's using it to interact with passengers and fans alike.

On top of being a quick-witted driver, he is also an emergency medical technician. Ure had to do double-duty recently when he witnessed a roll-over accident occur on a snowy day, which he describes as one of the "craziest things" he's seen on the job. He stopped his car, got out, and assisted with his first-aid kit.
Ure is also thinking about the future of his menus. Taking notes from a chef friend, he's going to update the menu when spring and summer hit. "I mean, the seasons change, the menu has to. You gotta keep it fresh," he said. Ure's not sure what'll make it to the new menus just yet, but he's been brainstorming. "I have a lot of ideas, some are good, some are bad, most of them are funny."
Ure, is all about pleasing the customers, he just needs some help knowing how do to that. "Tell the driver what you want," is his biggest piece of advice for passengers. His menu encourages his riders to speak up.
"I’m an Uber driver and a medic, I can't read minds, bro."
