Twitch has booted Onision off its platform as the campaign to deplatform the controversial YouTuber, vintage french erotice streaming online who's been accused of grooming teen fans and emotional abuse, continues.
The platform banned Onision on Wednesday, according to streamer tracking site StreamerBans. Neither Twitch nor Onision have stated what policies he violated or whether the ban is permanent. Twitch has not responded to Mashable's request for comment.
Reddit users theorize Onision was caught streaming on Twitch while simultaneously streaming on another platform. Twitch partners sign exclusivity agreements to monetize their channels and dual streaming is punishable by an indefinite ban and termination of the user's Twitch partnership.

Multiple women have accused Onision, who also goes by Greg and James Jackson, of inappropriate behavior. Onision has denied the allegations.
He's also the subject of Chris Hansen's YouTube livestream series Have A Seat With Chris Hansen, in which Hansen interviews Onision's accusers and others who have had negative experiences with him. Hansen recently visited Onision's house in an attempt to interview him on camera. In response, Onision called 911 on Hansen and his crew, referring to them as "YouTube stalkers" during the call. Onision and his husband Kai filed civil lawsuits against Hansen and YouTube commentary creator Repzion, who's made over 50 videos about him in the last 11 years, for "cyberstalking." The hearings are slated to take place on Jan. 24.
Patreon banned Onision in late November for violating their Bullying and Harassment policy after he tweeted a screenshot of a conversation with one of the alleged victims of his emotional abuse. The screenshot included her phone number, effectively doxxing her.
Since the Patreon ban, social media users have been calling on other sites to ban him as well. The campaign #DeplatformPredators has especially focused on petitioning YouTube to ban Onision, since nearly all of his alleged victims were first drawn to him because of his videos. Onision has chalked the campaign up to cancel culture.
Since he was banned from Twitch, Twitter users have asked YouTube when it'll follow suit.
"@Youtube How long until Onision is held accountable for all the rules he has repeatedly broken on your platform?" his ex-girlfriend Shiloh Hoganson tweeted last month.
