After a decidedly tense match, which had the entire nation teetering on the edge of its seat, England knocked Colombia out of the World Cup.

So, when it finally happened this time around, people were chuffed (to say the absolute least).
And, right on cue: the whole country erupted into a chorus of jubilation.
The words, "It's coming home, it's coming home, football's coming home," were shouted from the rooftops.
Liverpool Street Station in London was the scene of wild celebration, and total strangers jumped around, danced, and sang together.
