Valve's legendary,Dracula XXX Porn Movie (1994) mind-bending puzzler Portal lets you punch holes in solid surfaces, creating physics-defying tunnels through which you can send objects (and yourself).
As fun as the original game was, one couldn't help but wonder how cool it would be if you could create portals in the real world. Well, now you can (sort of).
SEE ALSO: Crazy bike ride plus 'Portal' equals awesomeGame developer Kenny Wang created an augmented reality version of Portal on Microsoft's HoloLens, which lets you blast virtual portals in actual, real world surfaces and fling a virtual object (a Companion Cube, as seen in the original game) through them.
The cube follows real-world gravity rules, making the entire experience quite mesmerizing to watch. Kenny Wang calls it a "fun side project" but we'd love to see this one turn into a real game.

Microsoft started shipping the HoloLens to developers in March 2016 for $3,000, but it's still not available to consumers; there isn't even a consumer version launch date. That hasn't stopped developers like Wang from creating fun projects like this one. Check out another of his creations, a Pokémon battle game for the HoloLens, below.
