Now, the company has actually made the TV available for purchase in South Korea, at an eye-watering price of 100 million KRW ($87,000).
Called the LG Signature OLED R, the TV is worthy of a supervillain's lair. The OLED display rolls up from a rectangular aluminum base when needed and rolls back down when you want to enjoy the view of whatever's behind it. Ironically, this is ideal for small spaces, but someone who can spend 87,000 U.S. dollars on a TV probably doesn't live in a tiny apartment.

Credit: bridget benett / MAshable The aluminum base of the TV comes in four colors – Signature Black, Moon Gray, Topaz Blue or Toffee Brown – and you can have it personalized with an engraved message, should you so desire. The base also contains a sound bar, which should provide a better sound than you get with most TVs.
There's no word, currently, on when the LG Signature OLED R will be available in other markets.
