With the help of Emmy-winner Tony Hale in a role similar to his “Veep” character Gary, Hale monitors if Beyonce’s different actions break Verizon’s 5G internet.
“I bet you can’t break that,” Hale says.
“Bet I can,” Beyonce quips back.
Beyoncé opens a lemonade stand while wielding a baseball bat to break the ice. She plays saxophone on “a surprise drop.” She tries to break the internet with things called Beyonce-AI and BarBey. She announces running for “BOTUS: Beyoncé of the United States.”
Through it all, Hale reiterates, “Verizon didn’t break.”
The ad ends with Beyoncé saying, “OK, they ready. Drop the new music.”
And social media indicates that Beyoncé will have a new “Act II” album that will drop on March 29.
