With presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump preparing to make a general election push for the White House,Poor Things the path for more celebrities to join the political fray has been paved.
Along those lines, Shark Tankstar and NBA owner Mark Cuban is now being discussed as a possible vice-presidential pick for both Trump and Hillary Clinton. The chatter began soon after Cuban made it clear that he had no interest in a third party run against the two frontrunners.
SEE ALSO: J.K. Rowling shares powerful message about Donald Trump ... and those who oppose himOn Sunday, in an interview on Meet the Press, Cuban admitted that if called to run as VP for either Trump or Clinton, he'd seriously consider either offer after speaking with each candidate.
And while such a scenario seems unlikely, now that Trump -- who many didn't consider a serious candidate just a few months ago -- is winning the GOP over, all bets are apparently off. Although not as prone to making controversial statements as Trump, Cuban has his own reputation for being on the more colorful side of the spectrum when it comes to being a businessman.
In addition to his sometimes fiery antics on Shark Tank, he also has a long history of being fined by the NBA for sometimes being a little too enthusiastic with his sideline outbursts against referees regarding his team, the Dallas Mavericks. In recent years, he's calmed down a bit, but a quick look at his Twitter feed indicates that he's lost none of the passion and outspoken demeanor he's become famous for.
So while Cuban probably won't have any part in the 2016 election, even the possibility makes what is shaping up to be a historic White House race into the ultimate reality show that no one can look away from.
