Like big spiders?USA Of course you like big spiders.
Someone else who seems to LOVE big spiders is the General Manager at the Australian Reptile Park, Tim Faulkner, who is having a ball showing off his friend "Behemoth."
SEE ALSO: Watch this horrifying redback spider take out a snakeThe park claimed in a Facebook post that "Behemoth" is the country's biggest huntsman spider. Look, it's pretty big.
According to the Newcastle Herald, the giant was handed in during the park's drive for funnel web spiders. The park has a venom program, and is looking for more arachnids to milk in order to produce antivenom.
Despite its fierce looks, the huntsman is essentially harmless. When humans are bitten, it results in swelling, but nothing more.
But its size is a real wonder, especially as a normal huntsman is around 2 centimetres (0.78 inches) for females or 1.6 centimetres (0.62 inches) for males. Its leg span can reach up to 15 centimetres (5.9 inches).
So yeah, "Behemoth" is much bigger that that.
"Behemoth" was released back into the wild, after keeping Faulkner and his keepers "on their toes." As it would.
