Justin Simien returned to the story and characters of his 2014 movie because he "wanted to go deeper with the characters," he told Mashablein February. Now it's 10 episodes of essential viewing which pack emotional and political punches. Dear White Peopletells the stories of several students on a predominantly white Ivy League Campus and how they deal with overt and nuanced discrimination.
