With 38 electoral votes at stake, Texas has significant weight in giving a candidate the 270 votes needed to secure a presidential win. The state has historically voted red, and it voted for Donald Trump during the 2016 election. In 2020, though, things appeared much tighter during early ballot counting.
Texas voting blue, though, is such an aspirational reach that Twitter users pledged that if it doeshappen — which is unlikely this election cycle, but could be an eventual reality — they'll post various risqué photos on main.
