If you're still an undecided voter,Comedy Archives maybe Tom DeLonge, formerly of blink-182, can help sway you to Clinton's team.
DeLonge parted ways with the band to devote more of his time to researching extraterrestrial life. Now WikiLeaks has published emails DeLonge sent to Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta, about UFOs.
SEE ALSO: 10-hour loop of Tom DeLonge's verse on Blink-182's 'I Miss You' is hypnoticThe Wall Street Journal first reported on the emails, in which DeLonge, who has had a scholarly interest in extraterrestrial life for the past couple decades, proves that he's not like you guys. Oh, and he doesn't like the word aliens anymore.
In an email from October 2015, DeLonge suggests bringing "A-Level" officials to Washington, D.C., to meet with Podesta in person.
I would like to bring two very ‘important’ people out to meet you in DC. I think you will find them very interesting, as they were principal leadership relating to our sensitive topic. Both were in charge of most fragile divisions, as it relates to Classified Science and DOD topics. Other words, these are A-Level officials. Worth our time, and as well the investment to bring all the way out to you. I just need 2 hours from you.
Just looking to have a casual, and private conversation in person.
DeLonge wisely declined to share any sensitive information in an email, so we may never know the specifics.
A second email from January 2016 gets into a little more detail. DeLonge writes about General McCasland, who he claims to be working with, and who, apparently, has inside knowledge of Roswell that made him believe in extraterrestrial life.
He mentioned he’s a “skeptic,” he’s not.... He just has to say that out loud, but he is very, very aware—as he was in charge of all of the stuff. When Roswell crashed, they shipped it to the laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. General McCasland was in charge of that exact laboratory up to a couple years ago.
Another email sent at the beginning of this year suggests that DeLonge may have successfully made contact. With the Clinton campaign, that is.
The email shows that Susan McCasland Wilkerson accepted an invitation from Podesta to an event called "DeLonge/Podesta Meeting."
McCasland Wilkerson is likely the former NASA astronaut candidate of the same name. She comes from DeLonge's hometown of San Diego and apparently performs live music, which is something DeLonge still sometimes does.
Clinton has previously stated that she wants the government's UFO files released. “If there is something there, unless it’s a threat to national security, I think we ought to share it with the public," she said.
Maybe Clinton can be DeLonge's new Mark Hoppus.
