Janet Jackson's official website carried a curious count-down clock that had fans wondering what news its expiration would bring Monday morning -- especially since her long-awaited "Unbreakable" tour was postponed last year.
But by afternoon, the clock had disappeared -- then re-set to four-plus hours ... only adding to the mystery.

Maybe I do," were her first words and -- after a gentle ribbing from brother Randy about her post-baby weight -- she launched into a message about her newborn child and the father, her soon-to-be-ex husband, Wissam Al Mana.
"This message was supposed to be about something else but I'll get to that in a minute ... I just wanted to keep it real with you guys for a minute. Yes, I separated from my husband. We're in court and the rest is in God's hands."
Then, the news that Rhythm Nation wanted to hear:
"I'm continuing my tour as I promised. I decided to change the name of the tour to 'The State of the World Tour.' It's not about politics. It's about people, the world, relationships and ... just love. I want to thank you guys for your patience for all your support through the years. I cannot wait to see you onstage Sept. 7 Bye! See you soon!"
And there you have it: Janet Jackson willgo on tour, but not under the "Unbreakable" banner, and it will kick off later this summer.
No venues or additional dates were immediately available. For that matter, no new countdown clocks were set.
