Jon Snow may know nothing,An Affair – Young Stepmother (2019) but now we know where he's going -- thanks to what presumably counts as a huge slip-up from a key Game of Thronescrew member. (Warning: here be spoilers!)
In an otherwise anodyne Uproxxinterview about characters' clothing in Season 7, costume designer Michele Clapton casually talked about Jon Snow's season arc in the past tense, as if we'd already seen it.
SEE ALSO: Everyone's getting a wardrobe upgrade on 'Game of Thrones'Here's what she said -- and again, seriously, look away if you're not into spoilers:
"There are times when we removed [Jon's cape] because we wanted him to be more vulnerable. Especially I think, when he saw Dany, and he went to see her for the first time in her chamber. We decided to remove it, but then when he went to see Cersei, we put it on."
That's right -- Jon has not one but two Queens on his calendar.
Presumably, as the only man in Westeros who really understands the nature of the White Walkers and the Night's King, Jon is traveling south to persuade Westeros' two main warring factions to concentrate on the real threat from the far North.
A quick reminder of who those two factions are: Queen Daenerys Targaryen was last seen at the head of a Westeros-bound armada that contained ships from Dorne and Highgarden, thanks to some last-minute alliance-making from Varys.
Queen Cersei Lannister currently stands alone as the current occupant of the Iron Throne, though it seems inevitable she will hook up with Iron Islands usurper Euron Greyjoy, who just built his own armada.
SEE ALSO: Spoilers! 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 episode details revealedFrom the episode descriptions released by HBO last week, we know Dany reaches Dragonstone (the island vacated by Stannis Baratheon) in the first episode of Season 7 -- and that she has an "unexpected visitor" in episode two.
We'd already speculated that the visitor was Jon, with Ser Davos Seaworthy at his side, as seen in the Season 7 trailer. Now that's not exactly speculation any more.
Instead, the main question is this: why is Jon seeing Dany in her chamber -- without a cloak, no less?
