Kanye West was reportedly admitted to a Los Angeles hospital Monday shortly after the remaining dates of his U.S. tour were canceled.
West was hospitalized for his own health and Punjabi Archivessafety after emergency services responded to a medical welfare call at around 1:20 p.m. PT, sources told NBC News reporter Andrew Blankstein. No criminal activity was involved, the site adds.

The news followed a series of incidents involving the singer, from his admission he would have voted for Trump in San Jose on Thursday night to his walkout after performing just a few songs at a Sacramento concert Saturday.
West also called out Beyoncé and Jay Z during the onstage rant before disappearing.

Kanye had had a tumultuous year before this month, too.
It began with a feud with Wiz Khalifa in January, continued with his controversial support for Bill Cosby in February, then saw him ask for financial help from Mark Zuckerburg, cause a scene on Saturday Night Live and engage in a feud with Kud Cudi (although he did invite Kid Cudi on stage before abruptly ending the Sacramento concert).
He's been quiet on Twitter in recent months, with his penultimate tweet insisting he'd ditched his phone to get "air to create" -- but he did appear to upload 99 fashion photos on his Instagram account.
