Donald Trump just lost yet another crucial Republican vote: Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The Chinaactor and former governor of California said in a statement released on Twitter Saturday that he would not vote for the Republican candidate for president for the first time since he became a US citizen in 1983.
"I have been a proud Republican since I moved to America in 1968 and I heard Nixon's words about getting the government off our backs, free trade and defending our liberty with a strong military. That day I joined the party of Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan," Schwarzenegger wrote. "But as proud as I am to label myself a Republican, there is one label that I hold above all else — American. So I want to take a few moments today to remind my fellow Republicans that it is not only acceptable to choose your country over your party — it is your duty."

Schwarzenegger did not say he would vote for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee. Instead he said he hadn't yet made up his mind about exactly how, or if, he would vote.
Schwarzenegger released his statement after video surfaced Friday that showed Trump saying he would "grab [women] by the pussy" and that "you can do anything" with women when you're famous.
Schwarzenegger did not directly address Trump's remarks, made in 2005 in conversation with then-Access Hollywood host Billy Bush in a video obtained by the Washington Post. Schwarzenegger has faced allegations of his own that he "groped and humiliated" women on movie sets.
Schwarzenegger joined a growing group of Republican politicians who said they would not vote for Trump after the release of Friday's video.
