Be warned,Eng Sub Marvel fans, and this comes from the top: If you spoil Avengers: Infinity War, the directors might set Thanos on you.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared a Twitter image on Tuesday urging fans to not spoil the movie, ending with the terrifying hashtag #ThanosDemandsYourSilence.

The letter starts out nice enough, addressed to "the greatest fans in the world," and then talks about the upcoming Infinity Warpress tour, which will screen "only a limited amount of selected footage" in order to not spoil the film.
Right, because...that's how press tours work.
The directors go on to say that they will not screen the entire film until it's Los Angeles premiere (hmmm) and only a handful of people know the full story (obviously!).
After all that redundancy about spoiler culture and the airtight secrecy of the Disney machine, the filmmakers ask fans to not spoil the film for others once they've seen it.
AND THEN: "#ThanosDemandsYourSilence"
This is, quite frankly, baffling. #ThanosDemandsYourSilence is literally a threat. Thanos is supposed to be the most terrifying villain we've seen in the MCU, with a history of abuse and exploitation and now a mission to destroy the Earth and everyone on it if they get between him and his precious Infinity Stones.
Couldn't they have made one of Captain America's quirky PSAs about spoiler culture? Certainly a PR team could have brainstormed a catchier hashtag, like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child's infamous #KeepTheSecrets.
Anyway kids, don't spoil the freaking movie. After you've seen it, make sure other people have before launching into detailed discussions, or else Disney will send purple Josh Brolin to haunt you forever.
Avengers: Infinity Warhits theaters April 27.
