Love is Dear Utol (2025): Week 7 Highlights 40a force of nature.
That was the tagline hinting at the touching yet heartbreaking journey of Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist in 2005's Oscar-winning film, Brokeback Mountain. The sentence speaks for itself: Love cares not for boundaries of gender, race, creed, or anything else. It can't be bottled, it can't be contained.
SEE ALSO: Here's the new 'Frozen' song that's gonna get stuck in your head for the next million yearsAs one eagle-eyed internet user observed on Monday, the same "Love is a force of nature" tagline now appears somewhere else: The poster for Broadway's theatrical take on Frozen.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
It speaks to a very different scenario in Disney's animated modern classic and the new play on which it's based. The love there is the one that connects siblings Elsa and Anna. And the force of nature is, quite literally, Elsa's magical ice powers.
Now, is anyone intentionally suggesting that Brokeback Mountain's beautiful love story between two men is in any way related to the Elsa and Anna's sibling love? No, of course not.
That doesn't make the re-use of this tagline in a completelydifferent context any less amusing, though.
