I wasn't planning on upgrading my phone today, but then I saw that Amazon dropped the Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, 128GB) to $599. That's a $200 discount, which is rare for a brand-new flagship device. If you've been eyeing Google's latest AI-powered phone, this might be the perfect time to grab it.

I've tested enough phones to know that not all flagships are created equal.
