Would you rather reach for a bagel or Just a Strangera doughnut in the morning? Hard decision, right? Both are delicious in unique and equally life-changing ways.
Well, thanks to Virginia bakery B. Doughnut (and a slew of other bakeries, too), you no longer have to choose. Its signature everything bagel doughnut is currently making waves online thanks to a D.C. popup and a spot in the Washington Post, and people have lots of opinions.

As the Post points out, this savory treat is technically a Portuguese malasada -- a ball of yeast dough that's deep-fried and typically coated with sugar -- but with a savory twist. (Customers can choose from bacon, chive, and lox fillings.) If you're not feeling too adventurous, B. Doughnut also offers the malasada in more classic flavors like lemon curd and berry creme.

It's also reminiscent of the everything donut from NYC's The Doughnut Project, although that particular pastry isn't filled, but instead coated in a cream cheese glaze. Semantics!
Anyway, as one would expect re: a mashup of two beloved breakfast staples, emotions are running high on Twitter.
