Slack was down for a few hours today. It has now returned online. The With You Againoriginal story appears below.
Slack is down.
The messaging tool used around the world went offline Monday afternoon, and thank the lord we're finally free of this curse. No more inane chatter, no more @here messages — just blissful silence.

Oh, we're happy to bear with you Slack. Take your time.
If you need me, I'll be in my hammock.

"We are experiencing connectivity issues right now, we are so sorry for any inconvenience," we were told via email. "For the latest updates, please keep an eye on @slackstatus and status.slack.com."

UPDATE: May 21, 2018, 1:22 p.m. PDT: It's back. Sigh.

I have an issue, Slack, that I would love to let you know about: Namely, that your service wasn't offline long enough for me to enjoy my hammock. Oh well, bring on the cascade of @here alerts.
