Kardashian West filed a federal lawsuit against Media Take Outafter the website published three stories suggesting last week's armed robbery was a publicity stunt. In order to win the libel case, Kardashian West, a public figure, will have to prove that Media Take Outwillfully posted information they knew to be false.

"Defendants were reckless in disregarding the truth and purposefully avoided learning the true facts in an effort to commercially exploit Kardashian’s valuable image for advertising or trade purposes," the statement continues.

The statement cites headlines like, “New Evidence Suggests . . . KimKardashian ‘STAGED’ The Robbery . . . Just Like RYAN LOCHTE!! (Here Are The FACTS) #KimRobbery,” as evidence that the website published the information as facts rather than speculation with no credible sources. Well, besides, "people on social media."

Kardashian West is currently taking time away from the spotlight after the traumatic incident. Keeping Up With the Kardashiansis currently on hold.
